New treatment for allergies

PostHeaderIcon Is there anything to prevent allergic reactions to cats?

See, my friend is staying over at my house for like a week, but she’s allergic to cats and we have one.

We already vacumned my room, and like most of the rooms really well… And our cat doesn’t sleep on the beds…

My friend will also be bringing allergy medicine and an inhaler.

Is there any thing else we can do to prevent the allergy reaction?
It’d be bad if she got like her allergy reaction because the rest of her family lives like 3 states away…

If your cat will allow it give the cat a bath.

Get your friend to stay somewhere else, (hotel for example).
    Prevention is better than cure.

Once you know she is allergic, its always best to have it prevented.
Not over depending on drugs……. Drugs are used as the last resort when there is an emergency.

What you can do is perfect cleanliness.

Make sure she has her drugs with her 24/7.

have your kitty sleep in the garage or your basement (if you have one). try brushing it everyday too to keep the hair from getting everywhere. if your cat doesn’t mind, give it a bath then gently towel dry its fur off. if it wont let you use soap and water, you can find these wipes specifically made for cats at petsmart or pet shop that work just as effectively.
    have fun with your friend!
